Callaham Steel Trem Blocks
Made to original specifications by Callaham Guitars, these tremolo blocks are precision-made in the United States. Callaham trem blocks are made from heavy, cold rolled steel and weigh a full 10oz (280g), producing incredible sustain, note clarity and response. The string ball ends seat just inside the trem block, as opposed to seating halfway up, which also increases sustain and tone transfer while minimizing the risk of a broken string becoming lodged in the block.

This block fits the following Strats® with 2-7/32" string spacing without modification:
- Fender® Stratocasters® made from 1954 to 1969
- American made Reissue Strats® (57, 62, etc)
- Highway 1 Strats® up to and including 2005
- Custom Shop Relics
- Jimmy Vaughan Strats®
- Eric Johnson Strats®
- Made in Mexico Classic 50s, 60s and 70s
- Made in Mexico Roadworn Strat®
- Made in Mexico Gold Plated Deluxe with 6 pivot bridge
This block may also replace the zinc block in Made in Japan Reissue Strats® and Crafted in Japan Reissue Strats®. These guitars should be checked for2-7/32" string spacing, and some modification may be necessary. A new Callaham Vintage Style Bridge Plate is required for Crafted in Japan Strats®
Made to Pre-CBS original specifications by Callaham Guitars, these tremolo blocks are precision-made in the United States and are exact replicas of the tremolo blocks used in the original 50's Stratocasters®.
Any 3/16" diameter 10-32 English thread tremolo arm will work, but we recommend the Callaham virtual pop-in arm for Callaham blocks.

This trem block replaces the stock zinc block in the following guitars without modification:
- Mexican Standard Series Strats® with 6 pivot bridge and 2-1/16" string spacing
- Mexican Classic Player Strats® with 2 pivot bridge and 2-1/16" string spacing
- Highway 1 Strats® (2006 and later) with 6 pivot bridge, 2-1/16" string spacing, and 2-7/32" mounting spacing
- American Specials with 6 pivot bridge, 2-1/16" string spacing, and 2-7/32" mounting spacing
- 2019 and later Fender Player MIM Strat and Fender Vintera Modified Strat with made in China Ping bridge
Note that the metric arm that comes stock with Mexican Standard Strats® will not work with this block. Any 3/16" diameter 10-32 English thread tremolo arm will work, but we recommend the Callaham virtual pop-in arm for Callaham blocks.

View Larger Callaham Mexican II Tremolo Block, Right Hand
This trem block replaces the stock zinc block in the 2019 and later Fender Player MIM Strat and Fender Vintera Modified Strat.
These guitars were shipped with one of two different bridges, so before purchasing this block you must examine the bottom of your existing tremolo block to determine which bridge you have.
If your block has three distinct ejector circles on the bottom and is stamped in one of the circles with a number 1 or 2 (see below), you have a made in Mexico 2 pivot bridge, and this Mexican II block is the correct replacement block.
If your block is stamped on the bottom with PW29 (see below), you have a made in China Ping bridge and this block will not fit your guitar. You should instead buy the Mexican Standard Enhanced Block.
Any 3/16" diameter 10-32 English thread tremolo arm will work, but we recommend the Callaham virtual pop-in arm for Callaham blocks.

This arm comes standard with our Callaham Vintage S Model Bridge Assembly and is recommended for use with Callaham enhanced blocks. When used with Callaham enhanced blocks, it is nearly unbreakable.
