This gold cover Seymour Duncan Antiquity™ model is made to look and sound like a well-worn '50s humbucker as originally designed by Seth Lover. The pickups are built to traditional standards with individual character and DC resistance, just like an actual '50s pickup. The gold-plated nickel silver cover, the screws and the poles are aged to give the pickup genuine vintage looks. The pickup includes a front-tapered pickup ring and mounting screws. Like a true '50s vintage pickup, this humbucker is not wax potted to retain genuine vintage sound. Crafted by hand in Seymour's "Antiquity" room, each pickup is signed on the magnet and bottom plate so you know you are getting an original Seymour W. Duncan Antiquity™. Installs with classic braided "push back" cloth braid wire.
